Camp and Shriners Hospital
The Un-Limb-ited Amputee Activity Camp is made possible by Shriners Hospitals for Children and our sponsors. Our organization has a history of serving individuals ages 0-18 with disabilities, including those with amputations at no cost. Un-Limb-ited focuses on young adults by encouraging them to better understand the use of their prosthetics through activities and sports. Camp also provides the opportunity to discuss with staff and peers issues common to teenage amputees. Shriners Hospital for Children seeks to help its patients reach their full potential beyond treating their orthopedic conditions, by helping patients adjust to their current disability through skills training, and recreational and therapeutic activities.
